Join our team as a Senior Psychiatric Therapist — where clinical excellence meets leadership and real impact.

We’re seeking an experienced, passionate therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while guiding and inspiring a team of clinicians. This is a chance to blend meaningful direct patient work with program development and clinical supervision in a fast-moving outpatient setting.

What you’ll do

  • Provide expert diagnostic assessment and deliver independent psychotherapy to adults through individual and group formats, leading a minimum of three psychotherapy groups per week.
  • Oversee our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): coordinate referrals, supervise and staff IOP clinicians, review and refine group curricula, and ensure consistent, high-quality group experiences.
  • Maintain clinical excellence through thorough charting and documentation review for completeness and billing accuracy.
  • Mentor and provide administrative and clinical supervision to junior therapists and support staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.

What you bring

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, mental health, or related field (Doctoral degree preferred).
  • Active licensure to practice independent psychotherapy (LCSW-C, APRN/PMH, LCPC, LCMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • At least 5 years of psychiatric therapy experience in a clinical setting with strong skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Exceptional clinical judgment and analytical ability to assess complex presentations and design effective treatment pathways.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated supervisory experience and a knack for mentoring clinicians.
  • Experience with IOPs, group therapy leadership, and familiarity with documentation/billing requirements is highly desirable.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Make a measurable difference in patients’ lives by leading high-impact groups and shaping an innovative IOP program.
  • Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values clinical expertise and professional growth.
  • Opportunity to influence program development and clinical standards while maintaining a meaningful caseload.

If you are a skilled clinician who thrives in both direct care and supervisory roles, and you’re ready to lead a dynamic IOP program with clinical excellence and heart, we want to hear from you. Apply today.
