Location: Baltimore, MD
Position Summary:
- The Patient Service Coordinator I coordinates with customers the most efficient method to schedule patient services.
- Exceeds customer expectations through the delivery of superior service demonstrating empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Effective communication to ensure customers have a full understanding of the scope of service, on-going aspects of care, and fully understand coverage and financial responsibility.
- Coordinates scheduling for existing patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to evaluate caller needs, provide solution, and closure to requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post high school education or training, preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years customer service, preferred
- Experience working in a medical environment - familiarity with durable medical equipment, preferred
- 2 years call center, preferred
Knowledge:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Basic medical terminology for homecare field
- Customer service principals and service expectations
Skills:
- Effective and professional communication with customer and referral
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasking - follow through for completion
- Call center experience, minimum of 6 months
- Timeliness - prioritization of work
- Adaptive, empathetic, and patient - positive attitude
- Time management, priority setting & organization skills

Salary Range: Minimum 15.00/hour - Maximum 24.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
