SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director of Operations plans, administers and directs all meal services operations. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, residents, visitors and employees.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Develops, implements and maintains trayline and retail operations
- Enforces quality control standards for patient food items including temperature, food handling, quality, taste and presentation
- Develops schedules and assignments
- Supports operation of the nutrition services software system that manages retail and patient operations
- Monitors employee performance
- Responsible for staff training
- Responsible for supervising human resource, finance and administrative positions
- Responsible for regulatory adherence
- Drives and Improves customer satisfaction
- Conducts quality assurance monitoring
- Responsible for adhering to sanitation requirements
- Develops policies and procedures related to all meal services and finances
- Develop and manage clinical performance improvement plans and activities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS Degree preferred, Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5-8 years previous management experience in large-scale/ high-volume food service operation required
- Serv-Safe Certification preferred

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
