The Department of Pharmacy, consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine, places a priority on teaching, research, and patient care. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, the department is responsible for providing acute care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical, surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients, with additional services provided within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and affiliated clinics. Within the department, there are 70 acute care and primary care clinical pharmacy specialists as well as 32 general and specialized pharmacy residents.
The Medication Use Systems Program Manager leads the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of medication use systems and automation technologies across the organization to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized medication management. Collaborates with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to enhance system performance, support patient care delivery, and drive innovation in medication use processes. Oversees vendor relationships, system integration, and program governance to align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Among the essential functions of this role are serving in a leadership role for the governance and strategic direction of medication use systems and automation initiatives across JHHS and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D. or BS degree. Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in applicable state/jurisdiction
- Seven (7) years of experience in hospital pharmacy operations, pharmacy automation or a related field required
- BLS and ACLS and/or PALS may be required based on practice setting
- Experience with data analytics preferred
Salary Range: Minimum $61.78/hour - Maximum $101.96/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
