Patient Care Technician
PRN Day Shift
NO Call or Weekends
The PCT is responsible for routine patient activities and support of Surgical Team. CNA Maryland license.
1 year of clinical experience is required, Endoscopy experience required
- Prepares endoscopy rooms for procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and renal biopsies
- Performs scope setup, leak testing, and basic functional checks under guidance
- Ensures required supplies and equipment are available prior to case start
- Assists with scope and accessory handling under RN/MD direction
- Supports patient positioning specific to endoscopic procedures
- Follows established workflows and responds to real-time direction during cases
- Recognizes when assistance is needed and escalates appropriately
- Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety standards
Salary Range: Minimum 24.00/hour - Maximum 24.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
