About the Role

The Product Manager reports to the ACG System Program Director. The Product Manager is responsible for managing the product lifecycle process. The Product Manager is responsible for working with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze the market needs and gather user feedback to inform new product features and development. The Product Manager will be the subject matter expert on the product(s) they are responsible for, understanding the competitive landscape; the product features and the end user experience. The position will have responsibility for gathering requirements from a variety of stakeholders; working closely with the technical development team and with the customer engagement team to articulate the product value. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully developing and managing a global healthcare analytics product.

The ideal candidate will possess the following abilities:

  • Proven expertise in working with business leaders to prioritize and manage a product roadmap for a set or features or products based on market need and customer demand, preferably within the health care industry and/or delivering health care analytics solutions to customers as part of a product.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively in discussions with customer facing teams to communicate and explain the value of product features to the user experience
  • Demonstrated experience of increasing product engagement through collaboration with product support, customer engagement and marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on a product roadmap to launch new features or products in the digital health or population health space
  • Proven ability to manage product implementations and roll-outs with customer engagement, product and marketing teams
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed product development teams.

Requirements:

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, health care, information technology or a related field is required.

Work Experience:

Requires 5+ years’ directly related experience managing or developing analytics products. 3+ years’ directly working as part of a product management or development team, with demonstrated responsibility for at least one product. Experience working as part of an Agile environment required.

Skills:

High level of interpersonal skills, written and oral communication necessary to interface with various levels of management as well as faculty, vendor and client interaction. Ability to work independently and meet scheduled timeframes; manage multiple vendor relationships and product development cycles simultaneously; and prepare oral and/or written presentations to senior management. Ability to communicate requirements to technical team and reports and outcomes to customer engagement management team. Ability to assess, plan and implement product strategy and roadmap. Awareness of need for timely communication, able to identify potential barriers and strategies to overcome them. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver on team goals and support customer and market’s needs.

Salary Range: Minimum 44.81/hour - Maximum 71.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
