Job Details:
Labor & Delivery/Perinatal Inpatient Unit-Zayed 8 includes six triage rooms, ten Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, 3 operating rooms, three Post-Anesthesia Care Beds (PACU), and over thirty inpatient beds for gynecologic services. You would care for pregnant undelivered women with high-risk maternal or fetal care requirements and low and high-risk delivered women (up to six weeks post-partum). The unit is one of only two Level IV Regional Perinatal Referral Centers for high-risk obstetrics in the State of Maryland and features a Fetal Therapy Program treating fetal conditions via intrauterine interventions throughout pregnancy. You will care for pregnant women with high-risk maternal or fetal needs, as well as low- and high-risk postpartum women (up to six weeks post-partum). Our Fetal Therapy Program specializes in intrauterine interventions for fetal conditions throughout pregnancy, providing expert care for the most complex cases.
The Registered Nurse Lead will provide clinical and operational leadership while supporting the day-to-day management of the nursing team. In this role, the RN will oversee employment activities, conduct performance evaluations, facilitate staff development and training, and support performance improvement initiatives. The RN will mentor and empower nursing staff, fostering a culture of quality, safety, collaboration, and professional growth. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse Lead will help drive operational excellence and ensure the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
- GYN/OB RN work experience required; charge/preceptor experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
