The Director, Radiation Oncology is responsible for oversight of clinical operations, strategic planning and multidisciplinary planning for the Department of Radiation Oncology in the NCR at the Johns Hopkins Proton Therapy Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital – Rockledge campus. Together the two campuses include 5 linear accelerators, 3 proton gantries, 3 CT simulators, 1 MR, and 1 HDR unit in metro Washington D.C. The Director collaboratively works with department, the NCR cancer service line including medical and surgical oncology, hospital senior operations lead/liaison and hospital leadership to facilitate and implement programmatic goals and priorities including strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have radiation oncology, cancer service line and/or outpatient healthcare leadership experience as well as revenue cycle/business operations expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a relevant setting.
- Four or more years of management experience preferred.
- This position requires frequent travel throughout the hospital and some travel to Suburban Hospital and Rockledge outpatient campus, Johns Hopkins Hospital and other JHHS sites.

Salary Range: Minimum 148,825.00/annually - Maximum 189,933.00/annually. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
