The Assistant Director, Supply Chain Operations, reports to the Director, Supply Chain Operations with an indirect reporting relationship to the local entity Director. The Assistant Director plays a crucial role in ensuring that the department’s services and daily functions are effectively integrated into the hospital’s overall operations. Core responsibilities include creating and implementing policies and procedures that guide departmental operations and support overall hospital objectives, while continuously evaluating and improving department performance to meet quality standards and enhance service delivery. The Assistant Director ensures that staff receive proper orientation and ongoing education to maintain high competency levels. This leader will work alongside the Director of Supply Chain Operations and the local entity Director to lead the operations of the assigned locations.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, Supply Chain, or a related healthcare or management field; a
Master’s Degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Extensive experience managing material/logistic operations in support of patient care, as is
generally acquired through at least eight years of progressively responsible experience in a
healthcare materials management setting including 3-5 years of management experience. - Requires a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of hospital finance, information
systems, customer service, performance improvement and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range: Minimum 54.35/hour - Maximum 95.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
