Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of member retention including but not limited to the following: drafting and reviewing communications in support of member retention initiatives, communicating verbally and in writing with members to ensure members remain in the Plan, identify and track disenrollment reasons to minimize disenrollment, increase Plan enrollment and track and trend factors affecting enrollment. Identify and implement member retention initiatives that can be applied across JHHC lines of business.
Requirements:
Education:
A B.S. or BA degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree.
Work Experience:
Requires comprehensive knowledge of the health care industry, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care principles, health care concepts, terminology, and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), including their impact on member outcomes, health equity, and barriers to care. Demonstrates an understanding of community resources, care coordination, and culturally responsive engagement strategies. Requires the ability to draft business correspondence.
Skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with members, providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly to changing business needs. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, and be able to navigate multiple systems concurrently.
Working Conditions
Work requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and sustained mental focus. Position requires prolonged periods of sitting while using a computer and telephone. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, effectively multitask, switch between multiple systems and projects, and respond to changing priorities while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Salary Range: Minimum 18.87/hour - Maximum 31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
