Position Summary:
charges will be converted to the established revenue and procedures codes. These codes are recorded on the paper bill for data entry
into the Keane Billing System.
The biller will be responsible for reconciling each day’s work to ensure a bill is generated for each patient
presenting for treatment and was discharged from the Emergency Department.
The position requires the Billing Coordinator to perform the
Duties of an ESC III (Sr.) are inclusive upon the supervisor’s request.
Shift: Day Shift - 40 hours per week
Education/Experience:
1. Required through completion of high school education.
2. Minimum of 2 years work experience as an ESC III (Sr.) or equivalent in an Emergency Department
setting required.
Required Licensure, Certification, and Ongoing Training:
Salary Range: Minimum 20.52/hour - Maximum 33.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
