What awaits you:
- Full-time, overnight shift: 11pm-7:30am. 5 days per week, working every other weekend. You will get additional shift differential for evening and weekends!

As a Patient Access Representative, you’ll:
-
Be responsible for satisfying the patient, staff or caller and maintaining the image and integrity of HCMC.
- Provide patients with information on physicians, directions to locations, required pre-testing, educational materials, and any other items prior to service.

Gather necessary data, enter appropriate data into computer-Epic, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and appropriately signed by patient in order to register and admit patient for inpatient or outpatient services.
What you’ll bring:

2+ years of experience in medical office, hospital, medical call center or similar customer service environment

EPIC experience highly preferred

Knowledge of health insurance concepts preferred

High school diploma or GED
-
Passion for helping others
-
Ability to think quickly and problem solve

Ability to talk and type simultaneously, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must type at least 35 wpm.
