SALES ASSOCIATE- Bayview/ 20 Hours

Position Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for stocking inventory and cash handling in the gift shop retail outlets. Responsible for promoting marketing and selling products to customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Skilled in stocking and inventory management in the retail arena.
• Greets all customers with personal service and provides supervisor customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for cash handling, makes change and totals bank daily.
• Effectively merchandizing products.
• Promotes and markets products to customers.
• Light sanitation and cleanup of storeroom as appropriate.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Work requires a level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma and one to two years of retail experience or one to two years of inventory experience required.
• Cash handling experience required.

Shift:

Part-Time (20 hours per week)

The position will be Monday through Friday.

Salary Range: Minimum 16.25/hour - Maximum 26.77/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
