What you'll do as a Credentialing Coordinator II:

  • Coordinate the provider credentialing process and activities within the organization
  • Support the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Collect and maintain all necessary documentation, including licenses, certifications, and malpractice insurance
    • Maintain and update credentialing databases and systems, ensuring up-to-date information
  • Review and evaluate each initial application for clarity, quality and completeness in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Conduct primary source verification of credentials, including education, training, experience, and board certifications
  • Prepare for internal and external audits by ensuring all credentialing files are complete
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by state and federal agencies, as well as internal policies
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, internal departments, and external agencies to gather and verify credentialing information

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in credentialing, administration, or a related field
  • Ability to navigate rapidly changing situations from technological advancements, by remaining flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Strong attention to detail and self-directed to consistently ensure data integrity and accuracy

Salary Range: Minimum $20.52/visit - Maximum $33.88/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
