The Project Analyst for the department of Physical Medicine and Rehab will support project management activities for the Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility (JH-AMP) program. The Project Analyst will provide project management support for implementation, sheduling, social media content, conference planning and reporting for JH-AMP. HopkinsAMP.org
Summary:
This position provides a broad range of analytical, project, and application support services and reports to the Clinical Resource Analyst (CRA) for the rehabilitation therapies of the Dept. of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and receives direction from the Director of Finance for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The general scope of the position includes, but is not limited to, using analytical tools and methods to report on operational, financial and clinical performance, market trends and the competitive environment, and legislative and regulatory impact. The Project Analyst may also be assigned special projects as needed.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required and a Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration or other relevant field is preferred
Knowledge:
An intermediate to advanced level of knowledge in spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, diagramming, and project management software is preferred. A basic to intermediate ability to write VB scripts, .NET programming and use SQL/MySQL is preferred. A basic knowledge of and/or experience in clinical or health operations is preferred. A basic knowledge of finance, operations, logistics, statistical and simulation modeling, administrative theory, process improvement and project management is beneficial
Experience:
At least one year of experience in a professional environment where the required knowledge base and skills have been utilized
Experience in healthcare enviornment highly preferred. PMP, Six Sigma or similar preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum 26.51/hour - Maximum 43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
