Supply Chain Intern 

40  hours per week, Temporary

Various Locations 

The Specialty Administrative Intern will work in one of these assigned departments:

Facilities Engineering,Information Technology, Supply Chain, JH International.

They will work closely with senior leadership, as well as clinical and non-clinical staff, to conceive and implement plans and procedures for patient care,

business improvement, and program development.

This position will assist with the overall planning, development and implementation of assigned projects and tasks to support the operations of the department.

This experience will enable the intern to expand skills by leading and collaborating on new opportunities, working with teams, and
honing in on the fundamentals of project management.

The Specialty Administrative Intern will assist with the execution of transactional processes, performance improvement and change management projects for assigned
department.

Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required), Bachelor's Degree A degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management,
engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. (Required)

Requirements: Active enrollment in coursework toward a degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

Essential Functions
• Assist with planning, development and implementation of assigned projects to support the operations of the
department
• Accepts assignments, confirming understanding of expected outcome. Completes assignments as directed.
• Participates in various organizational meetings; attends seminars and conferences as related to assignments.
• Develops and coordinates departmental protocols and procedures in conjunction with department head and
management staff.
• Supports the administrative team with various projects and tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Utilize all organizational resources effectively and efficiently.
• Where applicable, refer to the competency validation documents for population(s) served.
