The Clinical Nurse Specialist position is at the Sibley Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will conduct patient assessments, deliver patient care, and develop individualized care plans. Lead evidence based practice improvement initiatives and analyze data to create multidisciplinary care plans. Identify and act upon changes in patient condition and utilize evidence-based practice strategies to evaluate patient outcome data. Identify and analyze staff, patient, and system issues impacting patient care, developing, initiating, and evaluating corrective actions. Educate and mentor nursing staff to ensure adherence to patient care standards.
Qualifications:
- Master of Nursing (MSN) (Required)
- RN – Registered Nurse 10000068 (Required)
- CPR - Basic CPR 10000016 Upon Hire (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Navigate rapidly changing situations, from evolving patient needs to technological advancements, by remaining flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality patient care.
- Performs duties efficiently and effectively, using advanced technical skills and critical thinking ability.
- Serves as a resource to the clinical care team; applies comprehensive knowledge of skills, practice and established techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and self-directed to consistently ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Uphold ethical principles by maintaining confidentiality, ensuring informed consent, and making decisions that prioritize the well-being of both patients and staff.
- Collaborates with senior professionals to develop methods, techniques and analytical approaches.

Salary Range: Minimum 57.56/hour - Maximum 89.22/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
