Work Hours: Full Time/Day Shift
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL 

Position Summary:

• The Controls Technician Level II installs, programs, and troubleshoots building automation systems that control HVAC and related mechanical equipment.
• This role bridges mechanical systems and software platforms, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and according to sequence of operations.
• The technician works independently on moderately complex tasks and supports system optimization efforts. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Experience:  

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience 
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and control wiring. 
• Working knowledge of BAS/BMS platforms and programming logic.
• Experience integrating systems using BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols. 
• Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficiency using laptops, diagnostic software, and testing equipment. 
• Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys is a plus.
