Physical Therapist PRN - Acure Care

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy
• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students
• To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education
• Ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical Center

Experience:

• Acute Care experience is required .
• 2+ years of experience as a licensed physical therapist in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting
• Successful completion of clinical internships as part of the academic program.

Education:

• Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and current licensure. Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Physical Therapy earned prior to January 1, 2015, from accredited programs, with current licensure, may be accepted based on historical requirements.

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:

• Active Licensure in the State of Maryland required.

• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.
