Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Development, Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation, this position is a key member of the fundraising team and is responsible for the detailed planning and execution of organizational events, securing event revenue, and managing a portfolio of grants and external foundations to support the fundraising priorities of the hospital.
The Associate Director should possess outstanding communication skills, be highly organized, have strong written and analytical skills, and be capable of developing productive working relationships with faculty and volunteers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Must have four to six years of experience in fundraising or related field.
- Preferred experience includes personal solicitation and/or stewardship of prospects, preferably in health care or higher education.
Salary Range: Minimum 31.53/hour - Maximum 52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
