Weekly Working Hours: 40-hours/week Mon-Friday from 7a-5:30pm & every 3rd weekend from 8a-6:30p


Shift: 10-hour shifts

The Park Infusion Center/Sickle Cell Center for Adults provides non-oncology infusion therapy treatments to adult patients; the Sickle Cell Center for Adults provides comprehensive care, including acute/urgent care, for adult patients with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). RN responsibilities include primary patient care management, accessing/de-accessing CVADs, IV therapy/phlebotomy, medication administration of every route including controlled substances, frequent/constant patient assessment and documentation, responding to urgent/emergent patient care events, contributing to the advancement of RN and clinical practice. All RNs on the team are trained to cross-cover both unique clinic operations allowing for maximum internal use of valuable RN resources. This is a busy and fast-paced environment to work in.

Leads nursing operations within the Infusion Center outpatient setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Provides direct patient care, guides and mentors the staff, and partners with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Ensures compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based best practices. Serves as a clinical role model in all interactions with patients, family, visitors, providers, and other staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months nursing experience required, 2 years preferred and must demonstrate proficiency in RN 1, RN 2, and RN 3 competencies
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire
  • BLS CPR required
  • BSN (Required); MSN preferred
