Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary :

The Business Solution Analyst I supports projects to gather requirements and assist with the delivery of transaction and reporting solutions, helps manage test‑driven development and test artifacts, translates business needs into technical tasks under supervision, and assists with testing and metrics reporting.

Job Functions

• Define project scope and objectives; conduct user interviews and document requirements.

• Analyze business problems and recommend automated solutions, process changes, and system enhancements.

• Collaborate with project managers and teams on requirements, testing timelines, and status updates.

• Develop test strategies and detailed test plans; obtain stakeholder approval.

• Create and maintain test cases, scripts (manual and automated), and required test data sets.

• Coordinate integrated testing, data validation, unit, and functional testing activities.

• Execute tests, document results, track defects, and troubleshoot issues with vendors and technical teams.

• Report testing metrics and status to management and stakeholders promptly.

• Produce business cases, functional specifications, prototypes, and support BI and system enhancement efforts.

• Support testing tools, identify tool improvements, facilitate meetings, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field required.

• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year or relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

• Less Than 2 Years of Experience in an information technology or healthcare systems environment, preferably focused on software development.

Salary Range: Minimum 33.91/hour - Maximum 59.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
