Responsible for coordinating and collecting patient information and obtaining authorization from third party payors. Assists in obtaining and preparing pre-testing results, pre-operative notes, and signatures. Performs related office support duties.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of an Associate's degree in business or a closely related field and one year of previous experience.

2. No certification, registration, or licensure required.

3. Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.

4. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain medical center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.

Salary Range: Minimum $18.87/hour - Maximum $31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
