The Patient Access Registration Coordinator II are responsible for registration of patients, collection of co-payments and completion of applicable paperwork and documentation for

Emergency Department patients. The Patient Access Registration Coordinator will also Train and perform duties in all three functions of the department, including ED, Front Desk and Bed Control

40 Hours /FT (3:00PM - !!:30PM)

Monday - Friday

Education: 

High school diploma or GED

Associates Degree Preferred
 

Experience/Requirements:

  • Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  

Knowledge, Skills: & Abilities

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • 3rd party payer knowledge.
  • Basic personal computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to type or keyboard entry.
  • Requires effective customer service and organizational skills.
  • Requires ability to communicate via documentation, telephone, computer and verbally.

Salary Range: Minimum $22.75/hour - Maximum $37.53/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
