The cancer specialists at Sibley Memorial Hospital provide surgical, radiation and medical oncology and inpatient oncology services in Washington, D.C. metro area. As part of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (hopkinsmedicine.org) patients are able to receive the world renown treatments, including clinical trials and immunotherapy, of Johns Hopkins Medicine without leaving the region. Sibley Memorial Hospital - Johns Hopkins Medicine, is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital located in the beautiful Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and delivers specialty nursing services across inpatient, outpatient, and/or community settings by providing evidence-based assessment, intervention, education, and consultation aligned with the nursing process and organizational guidelines.
- Provides clinical guidance to team members to promote safe, high-quality specialty care.
- Collaborates with and provides leadership for the multidisciplinary care team through specialty consultation and support of clinical pathways, protocols, and practice standards.

Position Details
- Radiation Oncology Specialty RN
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shift, M-F 7:30-4pm
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required)
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience in clinical nursing (Required)
- RN - Registered Nurse 10000068 Upon Hire (Required)
- Must possess knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and their interaction with radiation treatment.
- At least 6 months RN experience in Radiation Oncology, 1+ year experience preferred
- ONS/ONCC Radiation Therapy Certification preferred.
- AHA CPR Certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum $47.57/hour - Maximum $73.73/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
