Full-Time | 40 hrs./week | Day Shift 

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is looking for a Triage RN to join our Pediatric Medicine Practice.  This is your chance to work alongside world-class Johns Hopkins nurses and staff, with exceptional benefits and countless opportunities for professional growth. 

This RN position will:

  • Provide and coordinate care to patients.
  • Employ the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care. 
  • Respond to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms. 
  • Provide patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions. 
  • Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues. 
  • Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required)  
  • Current CPR certification (Required).  
  • Minimum one (1) year experience (Required)
  • Previous experience in Pediatric outpatient clinic (Highly Preferred)
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong clinical assessment skills

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
