CT Technologist - PRN (Cardiac Cath)

The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) is a state-of-the-art imaging facility performing over 24,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures annually.  We treat the following conditions:

• Congenital heart defects
• Coronary artery disease
• Cardiomyopathy
• Heart failure
• Peripheral vascular disease
• Valvular heart disease

The CVDL operates eleven (11) procedure rooms.  There are general areas within the CVDL:

• Cardiology
• Radiology
• Electrophysiology

We are currently searching for a CT Technologist to join our elite team.  As a CT Tech you will:

• perform routine CT procedures
• properly prepare patients for IV and procedure
• assist patients (i.e. answering questions, providing information, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
• No direct cardiology experience required
• New grads encouraged to apply
• ARRT certified with current registration and Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians

OR

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians with special license to operate standalone/hybrid CT devices for Diagnostic CT.  Current registration for ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified and ARRT CT certification.
• CPR certification within three months of employment

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

7:00am – 5:30pm

Salary Range: Minimum $57.00/hour - Maximum $57.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
