As the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor, you will:

• Be responsible for making staffing decisions and supervise the staff who are responsible for direct patient care and the preparation of snacks and complicated infant formulas
• Resolve food service issues as well as computer-related issues to minimize any interference with patient care
• Implement the nutrition care plan as ordered by the physician and as planned by the clinical dietitian
• Make decisions impacting patient care according to departmental policy and procedures
• Be responsible for assisting with department cost containment by implementing and cancelling orders to control costs and minimizing overtime while ensuring appropriate staffing levels

What you'll bring:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate staff
• Ability to hold team members accountable
• Experience in food service and/or healthcare is a huge plus!
• Ability to work within multiple databases
  • Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able to coordinate the routine responsibilities of staff and resources.
• Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.
• Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.
• Ability to use a computer.

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Rotating Shift

Weekend work required

Salary Range: Minimum 18.40/hour - Maximum 32.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
