The Music Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating individual and group music therapy sessions to support the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of patients in a variety of medical settings. This role collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to enhance the patient experience, support the plan of care, and contribute to program development and policy improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy
• Board Certified, or eligible to achieve Board Certification within one year of employment
• Meets all educational, musical, clinical, and ethical competencies established by the American Music Therapy Association
• Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to adapt interventions to meet age-specific patient needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Current AHA CPR and AED certification for infants, children, and adults

Salary Range: Minimum 25.32/hour - Maximum 40.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
