Team lead for Orthopedics Patient Access
What you'll do:
- Provide support in lead capacity for technical and administrative activities.
- Assist supervisor in providing day-to-day coordination of call center activity.
- Assist with training staff and serves as resource for staff related to complex situations.
- Receive inbound contacts (calls, emails, faxes, etc.) from patients and physicians requesting services within JHMI.
- Coordinate complex appointment scheduling linking consults, procedures and ancillary services required for specialty and multiple sub-specialties with the department, maintaining patient demographic and insurance pre-registration information in multiple scheduling systems (Meditech, IDX, OCIS, MOSAIQ or EPIC).
What you'll bring:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of related work experience in a health care setting or medical call center
- Leadership experience- lead, SME
- Call center and scheduling experience preferred
Salary Range: Minimum $20.52/visit - Maximum $33.88/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
