Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C)

Position Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) provides clinical assessment, counseling, case coordination, and psychosocial support to individuals, families, and/or groups in a variety of settings. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, ethical, and client-centered social work services, with a focus on improving emotional, behavioral, and social well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and clinical assessments to identify client needs, strengths, barriers, and treatment goals.
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy and counseling services as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other care providers.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in compliance with agency, state, and professional standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute emotional, behavioral, or situational distress.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, psychiatrists, case managers, schools, community organizations, and other service providers.
  • Advocate for clients to ensure access to appropriate community resources and supportive services.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions.
  • Assess risk factors including suicidality, abuse, neglect, and other safety concerns, and take appropriate action in accordance with policy and law.
  • Educate clients and families regarding coping strategies, available services, and treatment options.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, training, and ongoing professional development as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of program and client needs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program required.
  • Current LCSW-C licensure required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and standard documentation practices preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Required Credentials

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • LCSW-C License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in [insert setting: hospital, outpatient, school-based, private practice, behavioral health, etc.]
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or specific populations such as children, adolescents, adults, or older adults
  • Bilingual skills, if applicable
  • Additional certifications relevant to clinical practice

Work Environment

This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours depending on client and program needs. The role involves direct client interaction, documentation, collaboration with team members, and may include travel to off-site locations or community settings.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
