Job Details:

The Transplant Nurse Coordinator for the Post-Kidney and Pancreas Tranplant Service is responsible for the care coordination of 200-250 pre-kidney and pancreas transplant recipients. This role involves triaging of calls, attending and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team, attending evaluation clinic each week, colalborating with the living donor kidney transplant team, prior authorization for testing, pre-transplant education and support, post-operative care education, reviewing labs, collaboration of consults and consents, and pre-transplant counseling and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • 3+ years of RN work experience required; transplant nursing experience strongly preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
