Director of Non-Clinical Sourcing

Position Summary:

The Director of Non-Clinical Sourcing within The Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) Supply Chain Department is responsible for leading, managing, transforming and developing the non-clinical products and purchased services portfolio for JHHS. This includes creating and executing against a contracting strategy and leading, managing and developing a team of non-clinical sourcing leads and specialists to manage and strategically source non-clinical products and purchased services.

The Director of Non-Clinical Sourcing will also oversee day to day contracting activities such as the monitoring of contract performance, the development, evaluation and management of vendor relationships, the drafting and negotiating of contracts, the building of relationships with JHHS stakeholders and the implementation of contracts with end users. The Director of Non-Clinical Sourcing will also develop presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders and engage with them to, among other things, build consensus on product standardization and purchase aggregation across the JHHS. In addition, in collaboration with the Analytics and Value Analysis teams, the Director of Non-Clinical Sourcing oversees benchmarking activities, the reviewing of industry best practices and other initiatives to achieve cost savings and increase quality. The process of leading and developing a contract portfolio for non-clinical products and purchased services should at all times be aligned with the vision for the future of Supply Chain, namely, sourcing the best quality products at the best price, treating customers with service orientation and focusing on supply chain excellence internally.

Education:

Bachelors Degree required

8 years of related experience required
