The Surgical Technologist II - Sibley Ambulatory Surgery Center (SASC) possess advanced knowledge of aseptic/surgical technique and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure. The Surgical Technologist II - SASC serves as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrates working knowledge of specialty equipment/instrumentation. Serves as a primary preceptor for inexperienced Surgical Technologists and acts as a resource for other staff orienting to the scrub role in the operating room.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
3. Certification in specialty as Surgical Technologist required.
4. Current CPR Certification required.
Shift: Full time, must be available to cover from 6:45am - 3:15pm. Call and weekends may be required depending on staffing vacancies and vacations.
