Are you an Echocardiography Technologist looking for an exciting PRN opportunity? If so, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, has the perfect opportunity for you!
The Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiography Technologist performs 2D, M-mode, colorflow, pulsed, and continuous wave Doppler on adult patients throughout the hospital. Assists the physician with Tranesophageal, contrast, doubtamine, and stress echocardiophy. Cross trains personnel from department into echocardiography.
Shift:
Casual/On Call
Must work Fridays. Possible other days as needed.
Qualifications for the Cardiac Sonographer/ Echolcardiography Technologist
- Successful completion of a recognized AMA or AMA equivalent allied health program for diagnostic medical cardiac sonography.
- Must hold a Cardiac Registration through ARDMS.
- Vascular registration is preferred.
- Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Echocardiography.
