Assistant Director, Patient Services

Full-time

The successful candidate will provide leadership, plan, administer and direct all patient meal services operations. Develop and manage an electronic menu system. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, residents, visitors and employees.

Principal Duties:

  • Develops implements and maintains trayline
  • Enforces quality control standards for patient food items including temperature, food handling, quality, taste and presentation
  • Develops schedules and assignments
  • Supports operation of the electronic menu system
  • Monitors employee performance
  • Responsible for staff training
  • Responsible for supervising patient services managers.
  • Responsible for regulatory adherence
  • Drives and Improves customer satisfaction
  • Conducts quality assurance monitoring
  • Responsible for adhering to sanitation requirements.
  • Develops policies and procedures related to patient meal services
  • Develop and manage clinical performance improvement plans and activities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Food Management and Registered Dietitian license. Master’s degree in food or business related area preferred.
  • Serv-safe certification preferred.
  • Minimum five years of previous experience in large-scale/high-volume food service operation required.
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party patient satisfaction companies.
  • Strong business acumen; Strong critical thinking adn problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.and subordinates.
