Our Nurse managers play a significant role to ensure we uphold the highest standards of patient care – not just in Maryland, but around the world. We have an amazing opportunity for a Nurse Manager on Meyer 7. This Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, is a CARF accredited 18-bed, acute care level unit, that treats a vast array of patient diagnosis. The nurse manager is responsible for onboarding, developing, managing the nursing staff as well as collaborating with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, providers, pharmacists, social work, case management, and other disciplines to ensure quality patient care. The manager also works closely with administration to ensure all CARF regulations are met and there is a successful CARF accreditation process. They apply advanced knowledge of nursing and management to manage systems of patient care, personnel development, fiscal and unit operations, performance. improvement, and program development and promote innovation and excellence in clinical, service, and team performance.

Who Should Apply:

  • MSN from an accredited nursing program required. Those without the required degree may be considered provided they enroll in an accredited MSN program within 12 months of hire
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • Requires 5 years of experience as a registered nurse (within the specialty preferred), including 3-5 years of leadership and/or management responsibilities
  • Ability to lead others, problem solve, analyze and interpret data, adapt to rapidly changing priorities and environments, and create a climate that fosters compassionate care, innovation, cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork
