Position Summary:

  • Reports to Department Head such as Administrator/Director/ Sr. Director.
  • This position is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, schedules, and the collection and management of data.
  • Provides admin and project support to a large departmental staff managed by one Department Director—project management of multiple, large, and complex projects across the organization.
  • Responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of the project and serving as the designated point of contact for procedural issues. Projects include but are not limited to overseeing the assessment and evaluation processes and detailed analysis that lead to recommendations.
  • Advances organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships, and facilitating change.
  • Provides staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees within Emergency Medicine and between various hospital services.
  • Leads and facilitates organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, systems redesign, integration, and solutions development, mainly as these efforts apply to departmental clinical information systems.

Full-time- Day Shift - 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration Required.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of previous healthcare experience is recommended. Supervisory/managerial experience required. Experience managing projects preferred. Work requires demonstrated experience in project management as acquired during 5 - 10 years of progressive experience.
