POSITION SUMMARY: This position is the acting liaison, coordinating accommodations before arrival throughout the patient and family stay at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Emphasis will be placed on reservation and registration management of housing including gathering all necessary patient / caregiver information, updating the property management system, patient education, and resources, and answering patient requests for information and assistance. This position will manage relationships with patients, care partners, vendors, and other various referral sources.

COMPETENCIES:

Education: BA or BS required or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge: Advanced Proficiency in oral and written English.

Excellent knowledge of customer service best practices and concierge services catered to opinion leaders.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is preferred.

Skills: impeccable customer service skills and communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people within and outside Johns Hopkins Medicine.

High interpersonal and organizational skills are required to interact with this patient population in delicate and stressful situations.

Analytical skills are required to implement and analyze tracking historical trends.

Strong organizational skills in coordinating medical care for a high-end population with high expectations.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Work Experience: 3 years related experience in healthcare and/or business with a strong focus on customer service best practices.
