Grand Oaks is a beautiful Assisted Living community nestled in the tree-lined streets of Northwest Washington, D.C. on the campus of Sibley Memorial Hospital. The building is a Georgian style residence with spacious apartments and variety of services to help every resident from independent living through memory care for those living with memory disorders and Alzheimer’s disease. The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day delivery of resident centered activities and programs for the Grand Oaks while meeting and/or exceeding Grand Oaks quality standards. Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Activities, the Activities Assistant will assist in the development and leading of the community’s engaging resident centered activities and volunteer programs and services for the community.
Work Location: Washington, DC
Full time Days
9am-5:30pm
Sunday-Thursday
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma required or GED.
- One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities.
