The Johns Hopkins Proton Therapy Center in Washington, D.C., one of the largest in the U.S., offers personalized proton therapy treatments for children and adults with a wide range of cancers. Patients are treated using the following cancer treatments: medical oncology, radiation oncology including proton therapy, and surgical oncology. This position oin the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Proton and Photon Therapy program

Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopaedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a state-of-the-art 24-hour Emergency Department.

About this position:

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure the Radiation Oncology Clinic runs smoothly. Serves as a representative of the hospital and as a clinical role model in all interactions with patients, family, visitors, physicians, and other staff members. Works with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure lines of communication are open and processes for quality patient care and problem resolution are in place and utilized.

What You Will Need:

  1. Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
  2. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience; must have RN experience in a clinic setting.
  4. Baccalaureate Degree in nursing required or actively pursuing degree upon hire.
  5. Current CPR certification required.
  6. Oncology Certification (ONS).
