Weinberg 5A is a 15-bed inpatient unit that provides medical care to adult oncology patients. On this unit, you will care for patients with acute leukemia and other hematological malignancies, blood and marrow transplants, and solid tumors. Our hematologic malignancy and hematology patients have access to some of the most innovative and advanced therapies in the world. Because Kimmel Cancer Center research scientists and clinicians closely work together, new drugs and treatments developed in the research laboratory are quickly transferred to the clinical setting, offering patients improved therapeutic options and the chance to participate in innovative clinical trials.

Shifts: Evening Shifts

Qualifications:

- CNA certified with MBON;
- Your license must show on the MBON with an Active status. Pending or Non-Renewed licenses will need to be updated before you can move forward in the process.
- Active CPR card;
- At least 6 months of CNA experience

Work Experience:

- At least 6 months experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital or nursing home is required.
- Six (6) months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Prefer previous nurse's aide or CNA experience or enrollment in an RN program.
- Active Maryland Driver's license preferred.
