The Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVSICU) is an 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. We receive patients directly from the operating room and manage their needs through their intensive care phase. Registered Nurses (RNs) will work in a very fast paced unit driven through team work and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. Qualifications:

• Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program
• Applicants with an Associate’s degree JHH provides Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your BSN/MSN
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license
• BLS CPR certification
• Acute care RN work experience required
