The Zone Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds and is responsible for managing, either directly or through delegation, work defined as zone maintenance within assigned facilities. They will supervise zone maintenance specialists and coordinate with tenants and other Facilities groups performing other maintenance activities.

Education: Work requires a high school level of knowledge of several subjects in order to prepare internal correspondence, perform calculations, keep records, and deal effectively with people; as well as technical research and writing skills sufficient to prepare written reports and budget justifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Work requires a successful background in maintenance, construction, or other facilities-related function as acquired through five years of maintenance or skilled trades construction. High technical knowledge in a maintenance specialty such as carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC. Previous work experience must have demonstrated a high degree of self-management.

Analytical abilities sufficient to organize and track management information needed to insure productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
