Patient Care Tech - PCT - Adult Surgical

Full-time - Day shift - 7am-7:30pm

The Patient Care Tech (CNA) on our 18-bed Adult Surgical unit is a critical part of the Patient Care Team and works in a collaborative relationship with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This certified role observes patients, provides basic nursing care, and maintains the patient environment in an outcome-oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland CNA licensure is required.
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • Prior patient care experience preferred.
  • Highschool diploma or GED is required.
