Physician Assistant or Acute Care NP - Cardiac Vascular

Job Title: Cardiac Vascular Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP)

Position Overview:
Suburban Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Vascular Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) to join our esteemed Cardiology team. As a Cardiac Vascular APP at Suburban Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiac and vascular disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in the diagnosis and management of cardiac and vascular conditions.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance cardiac and vascular care at Suburban Hospital.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland.
• Certification as an Physician Assistant, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) with a focus on cardiology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology or cardiovascular medicine.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
