The Pediatric Emergency Department is a 32-bed unit and Level 1 trauma and burn center for pediatric patients across the state of Maryland who have not yet reached their 15th birthday. In addition, the PED provides emergency care for a wide range of medical illnesses and minor injuries, treating children from birth to age 22, including patients followed in our nationally ranked JHH subspecialty clinics. The PED serves mental health patients in the region with a designated psych suite staffed with nurses and techs from our psychiatry department, as well as functions as a city referral center for child maltreatment. We are a cohesive team of doctors, nurses, and support staff that depend on teamwork to meet the dynamic needs of our patients. Shifts: 12 hour evening/night rotating shifts

Who Should Apply:

  • Associated degree in nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • RN work experience required
