Johns Hopkins All Children’s doctors, nurses, therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center, bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving North Port and surrounding communities.

Position Summary: The Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years’ experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
• Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
• 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
• Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo)
• Current BLS certification, AHA
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.

***This position will primarily be located in Bradenton, FL., with the potential to travel to support other sites. Time and mileage will be compensated when you travel to another site.
