Embark on a rewarding career journey in our dynamic Medical Observation Unit, where patient care and professional growth take center stage. Immerse yourself in a state-of-the-art facility boasting 9 private beds, specifically designed to deliver exceptional care to adult patients undergoing short-term observation for a range of medical conditions.

As a dedicated Registered Nurse, RN, in our unit, you’ll have the opportunity to provide specialized care to individuals experiencing syncope, chest pain, hyperglycemia, dehydration, and mild asthma/COPD. Our goal is to offer an innovate alternative to discharge or traditional hospital admissions, providing extended observation periods (typically less than 72 hours) for emergency department patients who could benefit from additional monitoring and evaluation.

Qualifications and Education:

  • RN license in Maryland or compact state
  • CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BSN obtain withiin 4 years
  • Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful
