About this position:

The Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Nurse Coordinator position reports to the Medical Directors of the Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Program, as well as the Assistant Administrator of Operations for Neurosciences. This position works directly with the Pediatric Epilepsy division and neurosurgery faculty, staff and inter-department staff. This position is responsible for coordinating care points of pediatric epilepsy surgery patients including clinic visits, out- and inpatient tests (in conjunction with staff in involved departments) and pre- and postoperative care related to epilepsy surgery in collaborating institutes (Kennedy Krieger, Mount Washington, local providers, etc.). This position will also serve as a liaison between patients/families and faculty involved for the patients’ care while promoting successful and efficient patient experiences.

What You Will Need:

  • Current clinical licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Bachelors of Nursing
  • Minimum three years of clinical Epilepsy or Neurology experience
  • Experience or familiarity with epilepsy and related complex medical conditions preferred.
